The Executive/Senior Executive - Legal role at OakNorth.Ai involves supporting the onshore Transaction Execution Team in the US on all their lending transactions. The position is based in Gurugram, India, and requires working US shift timings (6 PM to 3 AM IST). Key responsibilities include managing internal compliances on all US lending transactions, overseeing digital signatures of documents generated during the lending lifecycle, coordinating physical wet ink signatures with team members in London, and maintaining various trackers to ensure timelines are met. Additionally, the role involves tracking the registration of OakNorth Bank’s security at the UK's Companies House, managing deal handovers to the Portfolio Management Team, and arranging meetings and diary invites for internal and external meetings.
Candidates should have a graduate degree with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably with a finance background or in risk management. Essential skills include extreme attention to detail, strong spoken English, good commercial acumen, and the ability to work effectively across teams. Proficiency in creating and editing written materials, data compilation and analysis, and the ability to independently investigate and present conclusions are also important. Personal attributes such as being proactive, flexible, creative, result-driven, responsible, curious, a team player, and a fast learner are highly valued.
