Field Marketing Manager
The Field Marketing Manager at Appian is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing plans to support the company's go-to-market efforts in the Public Sector industry. This role involves managing and executing industry events and field marketing programs designed to grow and accelerate the sales pipeline and revenue. The position reports to the Senior Field Marketing Manager and requires close collaboration with Public Sector Field Sales to define goals and implement marketing plans that drive lead generation and account expansion activities.
Key responsibilities include managing the end-to-end planning and execution of a portfolio of Public Sector events, such as major industry trade shows, regional seminars, and executive roundtables, ensuring a high-quality experience for all attendees. The role also involves executing account-based marketing (ABM) tactics aligned with account-specific plans to penetrate and expand target accounts. Additionally, the Field Marketing Manager will enable the regional sales team with the latest marketing content and program information, manage budgets for assigned field programs, oversee the lead management process for marketing campaigns, and analyze campaign performance in partnership with Marketing Operations to make data-driven recommendations for future optimization.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of field marketing or events experience at a B2G or B2B enterprise software company, with experience managing large and regional event logistics, strategy, and execution. A Bachelor's Degree is required. The role requires the ability to travel 25-30% and offers a base salary between $75,000 and $175,000 per year, with actual compensation dependent on factors such as relevant work experience, qualifications, and market conditions.
