Finance Lead
Hyphen Connect is seeking a Finance Lead to oversee and enhance our financial operations as we expand our Bitcoin Layer 2 project. This role is integral to bridging traditional financial practices with the dynamic world of Bitcoin-native finance, ensuring robust accounting and efficient payroll systems for our global team.
The Finance Lead will manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closing for both fiat and Bitcoin-denominated transactions. Responsibilities also encompass overseeing global crypto-to-fiat payroll, managing multi-currency distributions, and ensuring secure storage and efficient management of the project's liquid assets. Additionally, the role involves implementing and optimizing crypto-native accounting software to automate transaction reconciliation and reporting, while ensuring compliance with international tax laws and reporting requirements specific to digital asset holdings.
The ideal candidate possesses over five years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with proven proficiency in both crypto accounting tools (such as Bitwave, Cryptio, Tres) and traditional platforms (like QuickBooks, Xero). Direct experience managing international payroll involving digital assets and fiat is essential. A strong understanding of Bitcoin-native concepts, including UTXOs, the Lightning Network, and Layer 2 scaling solutions, is required. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is necessary, and professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are advantageous.
