Finance & Strategy Manager, Germany

Wolt is seeking a Finance & Strategy Manager to support its operations in Germany. This role involves acting as a strategic advisor to key cross-functional partners, ensuring efficient investment and capital allocation decisions while enhancing the experience for all marketplace participants. The position reports to the Director of Finance & Strategy and is based in Berlin, with a hybrid work arrangement combining in-office and remote work.

The Finance & Strategy Manager will own the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement, developing a deep understanding of key drivers to strategically balance growth and profitability. Responsibilities include leading weekly financial reporting and forecasting, as well as quarterly planning, serving as the primary expert on business performance. The role also involves identifying and evaluating key risks and opportunities, building business cases and investment proposals, and ensuring effective execution of strategic initiatives. Additionally, the manager will build detailed, scalable forecasting models for the country and develop tools and reporting to automate and scale revenue and expense management.

Candidates should have over six years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Strategic Finance, or a related field. A strong track record in building financial models, managing budgets, and forecasts is essential. Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets is required, with additional skills in Looker or Power BI (Power Query) considered a bonus. Strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently, and experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments are preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills are also necessary. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
