As a Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Analyst at Capital on Tap, you will play a pivotal role within our Financial Crime team, ensuring the integrity of our customer reviews and compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) regulations. Capital on Tap is a financial platform dedicated to simplifying financial management for small businesses by offering a comprehensive suite of products, including business credit cards and spend management tools.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include conducting ongoing due diligence on small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) customers in both the UK and US, maintaining accurate Know Your Business (KYB) records, and verifying beneficial ownership structures. You will assess the nature of existing customers' businesses to ensure alignment with our risk appetite and regulatory standards, perform transaction monitoring to identify unusual activities, and engage directly with customers to clarify ownership details or request updated documentation. Collaboration with the wider Financial Crime team to share insights and enhance review processes is also a key aspect of this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience in financial crime roles, particularly in customer due diligence or ongoing monitoring for SME corporate customers. A strong understanding of KYB and CDD regulatory requirements across UK and US jurisdictions is essential, along with the ability to analyze and document ownership and control structures accurately. Proficiency in transaction monitoring, identifying red flags, and making risk-based decisions is required. Strong analytical and investigative skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities are crucial for interacting with both internal stakeholders and external customers.

Additional benefits include an annual learning and wellbeing budget, enhanced parental leave, cycle to work scheme, season ticket loan, and access to free therapy sessions.

Joining Capital on Tap means becoming part of a dynamic and inclusive culture that values innovation, speed, and collaboration.
