Flight Test Manager

The position is based in either Berlin or Munich, Germany.

The Flight Test Manager will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive flight test plans, overseeing the safe and efficient execution of all flight test operations, and ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements and safety protocols. Key responsibilities include recruiting and leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers and pilots, managing budgets and resources for flight test campaigns, and establishing supplier relationships for facilities, instrumentation, and components.

Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in test operations, with a proven track record in a leadership or management role. A degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, physics, computer science, or a related field is required. In-depth knowledge of regulatory, quality, and safety standards for flight testing is essential, along with strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills. Excellent communication abilities and proficiency in analyzing complex data are also necessary.
