Flutter Engineer - Platform
Capital on Tap is seeking a Flutter Engineer to join their Platform team in London. This team is responsible for developing the foundational elements that support all web and mobile applications at Capital on Tap, including the design system, shared UI components, and core functionalities like sign-in and settings. As a Flutter Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Customer Portal, the primary interface used by customers daily.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with Design and Product teams to implement and maintain features, widgets, and shared packages using Flutter. Your responsibilities will include writing unit, widget, and visual regression tests with a strong emphasis on accessibility, and managing the release process for both the App Store and Google Play. Additionally, you will address bugs and production issues, ensuring optimal performance across real devices.
Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart, or native mobile development in Kotlin or Swift, gained through professional work, personal projects, or self-study. A solid foundation in engineering principles, a genuine interest in mobile development, and a commitment to building user-friendly applications are essential. Experience working in Agile teams and a proactive, collaborative approach are also highly valued.
