Forensics Technician
As a Forensics Technician at DISCO, you will be an integral part of our Professional Services team, specializing in digital forensics and data collection. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting forensic data collections from various digital sources, both remotely and on-site, ensuring the integrity and defensibility of electronic evidence. Your day-to-day tasks will include developing preservation strategies, performing data analysis to uncover critical evidence, and providing expert testimony when required. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to deliver timely and accurate forensic services that meet the highest industry standards.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in digital forensics, with experience in data preservation, collection, and analysis. Proficiency with forensic tools and methodologies is essential, along with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication abilities are required to effectively interact with clients and team members. Certifications such as Certified Forensic Examiner (CFE) or similar are highly desirable.
