The Forward Deployed AI Engineer at Talkdesk is a pivotal role that bridges the gap between Talkdesk's advanced AI capabilities and the unique requirements of enterprise clients. In this role, you will lead the technical execution of AI deployments, including designing system architectures, writing production-grade code, and managing complex integrations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy AI agents, ensuring solutions meet enterprise standards for security and scalability. Additionally, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, addressing inquiries and mitigating technical risks to build strong relationships.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software or solution engineering, with at least 1 year focused on deploying AI/ML solutions. Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and TypeScript is essential, along with experience in designing complex multi-agent systems. Strong skills in systems integration, including APIs and data architecture, are also required.
Compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from $180,000 to $225,000, with additional incentives such as equity and bonuses based on role and level.
