Sandstone is seeking a Forward-Deployed Lawyer, Engineer, or Ops Leader to serve as the primary liaison for a cohort of in-house legal teams post-sale, managing relationships from onboarding through adoption, expansion, and renewal. This role is pivotal in ensuring client readiness translates into strong adoption, retention, and growth. As a builder, you will design programs, define standards, and work directly with in-house legal teams to ensure early success and long-term scalability.

In this position, you will own a portfolio of accounts, establishing a strong foundation for long-term adoption and clear, measurable client outcomes from day one. Responsibilities include driving sustained product adoption through structured enablement programs, tailored success plans, regular engagement, and proactive usage optimization. You will act as a trusted strategic advisor to legal and operational leaders, aligning Sandstone to client goals, uncovering new use cases, and helping teams re-imagine how legal work gets done. Additionally, you will identify and drive commercial opportunities, partnering cross-functionally to support renewals and expansion, and monitor customer health using quantitative and qualitative metrics to proactively mitigate churn risk and drive retention.

The ideal candidate brings over 5 years of experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Full Stack Engineer, Customer Success Lead, or a related role within a high-growth B2B SaaS environment, ideally in LegalTech. You should be comfortable owning senior stakeholder relationships, driving adoption, and delivering commercial outcomes in a fast-moving setting. A background in law is a bonus, especially if you've worked at a top-tier law firm, within a corporate legal team, or have experience in legal technology or entrepreneurial ventures. Understanding how legal teams think, work, and sometimes struggle is essential, along with a motivation to help them improve through technology.
