Fraud Investigations Specialist

GoCardless, a global leader in bank payments, is seeking a Fraud Investigations Specialist to join their Fraud Risk Management team in Riga, Latvia. The company processes over $130 billion annually across more than 30 countries, offering solutions like Direct Debit, real-time payments, and open banking to over 100,000 businesses worldwide.

In this role, the specialist will monitor risk alerts, identify high-risk behaviors within the business portfolio, and conduct fraud investigations to mitigate potential revenue losses. They will also lead customer-facing correspondence and collaborate with various teams to ensure a seamless merchant experience.

Candidates should have hands-on experience in fraud investigations or similar roles, possess strong logical reasoning skills to distinguish between legitimate and suspicious activities, and be comfortable making accurate, swift decisions based on available evidence. Proficiency in written English for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders is essential.

The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from €1,867 to €2,800 gross, with offers considering experience, interview assessments, and internal parity.
