Frontend Engineer
OPSWAT is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join our Product Engineering team in Hungary. In this position, you will design and implement interactive dashboards and reporting interfaces, enabling users to visualize key metrics and system activity within our cybersecurity platform. You will develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate user requirements into functional frontend components. Additionally, you will integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of frontend development experience, with proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, CSS preprocessors (such as less, sass, or scss), TypeScript, and the latest JavaScript standards (ES6+). Experience with JavaScript frontend frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js is essential. A strong understanding of best practices for building cross-browser, device-independent interfaces and RESTful web services is required. The candidate should be open to learning new technologies, possess strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills, and have good English communication abilities. Familiarity with Git and branching models is advantageous.
