FullStack Engineer, AdTech

Wolt is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our Promotions team, focusing on developing systems that enable merchants to grow through offers, discounts, and incentives. As part of Wolt's mission to deliver (almost) everything, this role plays a crucial part in enhancing merchant growth and customer engagement across our platform.

In this position, you will build and evolve end-to-end promotion systems, from backend services to user-facing tools utilized by merchants and internal teams. Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable backend services using technologies such as Kotlin, Python, and Go, as well as developing high-quality web applications with React, emphasizing usability and performance. You will also take ownership of large, cross-team initiatives, driving them from ideation through planning, alignment, and delivery.

The ideal candidate possesses strong full-stack engineering experience with a solid backend foundation, significant experience with React for building product-facing web applications, and proficiency in Kotlin, Python, or Go in production environments. Additionally, proven ability to take ownership in ambiguous environments, experience leading cross-team projects, and strong communication skills are essential. Experience with AI-assisted development tools is also valued.

This role offers the opportunity to build products directly used by restaurants and brands to grow their business, with promotions being one of the most visible and impactful levers on the platform. You will work on a mix of backend systems and user-facing tools, owning features end-to-end and seeing your work quickly go live across multiple markets.
