Fullstack Software Engineer, Robotic Solutions Development
Intrinsic, an AI robotics group at Google, is seeking a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to join their Product Development Team for Robotic Solutions in Munich, Germany. This role involves developing production-ready software for scalable robot applications based on the Intrinsic Platform, collaborating closely with various stakeholders throughout the development process.
In this position, you will work alongside product management and platform development teams to make architectural decisions that ensure long-term maintainability and stability. Your responsibilities include implementing high-quality software using state-of-the-art tools, conducting hands-on testing on real hardware, and supporting customers as needed. Additionally, you will coordinate the smooth transition of feature releases to the Customer Success Team, which handles customer-facing enablement and support.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a Master's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field. Professional experience with Python and TypeScript/JavaScript is essential, along with a proven ability in technical leadership, including setting technical direction and guiding development efforts. Excellent collaboration skills are also required to work effectively with internal cross-functional teams and external technical partners.
While not mandatory, experience developing and deploying frontend and backend production code for industrial robotics and automation solutions within manufacturing or production environments is advantageous. A good understanding of concepts such as coordinate transforms, quaternions, and pose representations, as well as familiarity with web-based 3D visualization, will further enhance your candidacy. Experience with Angular, Bazel, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers is also beneficial.
Intrinsic offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary between €128,000 and €131,200, plus a 15% bonus, equity, and benefits.
