FX - Launchpad Internship 2026

Framestore's 2026 Launchpad Internship offers talented and creative individuals a chance to gain hands-on experience at one of Europe’s leading creative studios. Interns will learn through studio work, presentations, a personal project, and informal meetups while collaborating on real projects with experienced artists and technologists. Previous interns have contributed to shows like One Piece, Project Hail Mary & How to Train Your Dragon.Working within the  Film and Episodic division of Framestore as an FX Artist at Framestore, you’ll create CG simulations of naturalistic physical or magical phenomena such as fire, water, clouds, smoke, snow, physical destruction, and particles.RequirementsA knowledge of Houdini​​An understanding of the techniques and technologies relating to FX simulation and procedural animationA good understanding of the entire visual effects processFamiliarity with Vex and NukeExperience producing some effects, such as smoke, fire, water, clouds, and/or simulation techniques for rigid bodies.Good communication and organisational skills.Creative problem-solving abilities.
