AE Studio, a fully bootstrapped applied AI company with approximately 160 employees, is seeking its first in-house General Counsel. Founded over a decade ago, AE Studio has developed and deployed production AI solutions across various sectors, including finance, defense, aviation, healthcare, and education. The company has a history of significant achievements, such as generating millions in additional revenue for a major airline and creating an AI-enabled school where students perform in the top 1% nationally. AE Studio operates without external investors, allowing it to prioritize initiatives like the AI Alignment Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing AI alignment research.
