General Counsel
Legion Technologies is seeking a General Counsel to lead its global legal, intellectual property, and corporate functions. As the chief legal officer, the General Counsel will be a key member of the executive leadership team, partnering with the CEO, executive team, and Board of Directors to support Legion's mission of transforming hourly jobs into good jobs through AI-powered workforce management solutions.
The General Counsel will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive legal strategy that aligns with Legion's business objectives and growth plans. This includes advising on key legal, regulatory, and governance matters, building and leading a high-performing in-house legal team, and managing external counsel efficiently across specialties and jurisdictions. The role also involves overseeing corporate governance processes, supporting equity and debt financings, and providing legal support for commercial operations, product development, and partnerships.
Ideal candidates should have extensive experience in corporate law, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance, with a strong background in SaaS and AI industries. Proficiency in privacy and data protection laws, labor and employment regulations, and risk management is essential. The ability to build and lead a legal team, manage complex legal matters, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is crucial.
