JOB DESCRIPTION:

Quartermaster AI is seeking an experienced and mission-driven in-house legal counsel to lead the legal, contracts, and regulatory functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Oversee legal, regulatory, compliance, and corporate governance matters.

· Negotiate contracts with customers and suppliers.

· Lead legal aspects of investor financing, strategic partnership agreements, and M&A activities.

· Advise on compliance with U.S. government contracting requirements.

· Advise on compliance with export control and security compliance requirements.

· Manage intellectual property portfolio.

· Serve as strategic advisor to the executive leadership team.

· Work cross-functionally with the Business Development, HR, Operations, Engineering teams.

QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED):

· 10+ years of legal experience.

· Mix of law firm and in-house experience.

· Deep understanding of government and defense contracting processes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Occasional travel (10%-20%)
