Global Accounting Manager
Actionstep, a leading provider of cloud-based legal practice management software, is seeking a Global Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity of our financial operations across multiple international entities, supporting our rapid global expansion. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Global Controller to maintain robust financial foundations and deliver accurate reporting that informs strategic decision-making.
The Global Accounting Manager will oversee the global month-end close process, ensuring timely and precise financial results across all entities. Responsibilities include maintaining the general ledger's integrity, managing global consolidation activities, and handling intercompany reconciliations. The role also involves leading revenue recognition policies, supporting complex accounting transactions, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards. Additionally, the manager will coordinate annual financial audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting function.
Candidates should possess a Master's degree in Accounting and have over eight years of accounting experience, including leadership roles. A strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS is essential, along with proficiency in modern ERP systems like NetSuite and advanced Excel skills. While a CPA qualification is desirable, experience in SaaS, technology, or professional services industries, as well as exposure to multi-entity or international accounting environments, will be advantageous.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $160,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
