Global Card Issuing & Partnership Leader
The Global Card Issuing & Partnership Leader at Motive is a pivotal role within the Product Partnership organization, reporting to the Chief Product Officer. This position focuses on developing and executing comprehensive partnership strategies to enhance the Motive Card platform by engaging with key financial technology and infrastructure providers. The role is integral to Motive's mission of empowering physical operations with tools that improve safety, productivity, and profitability.
Key responsibilities include leading new business development efforts to identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships that drive mutual value and accelerate the Motive Card roadmap. The leader will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate partnership strategies into actionable roadmaps, ensuring seamless integration of new partner services. Additionally, the role involves aligning the Motive Card with the fuel merchant landscape, including retail and bulk fueling networks, to optimize spending and enhance the customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or partner management, with demonstrated expertise in negotiating and managing complex partnerships. A proven understanding of the payments industry, including experience with card issuing, processors, acquirers, merchants, and payment networks, is essential. Experience with fuel merchant partnerships is a strong plus. The candidate should possess strong strategic and analytical skills, a bias-to-action, and the ability to work collaboratively across product, sales, and engineering teams.
Motive offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $143,000 to $197,000 USD, depending on location and experience.
