The Global Paralegal will play a pivotal role in managing case flow and supporting the firm's mission to deliver justice for vulnerable clients. Responsibilities include tracking cases from initiation through resolution, overseeing discovery and filing deadlines, coordinating the ordering and management of medical records, organizing and preparing legal documents, and serving as a primary point of contact for clients. Additionally, the paralegal will schedule depositions, mediations, and court proceedings, assist attorneys with discovery responses and evidence gathering, and actively ensure that cases progress without delay.
Candidates should have proven experience in personal injury law, encompassing both pre-litigation and litigation phases. Strong task management skills with extreme attention to detail are critical, as is the ability to independently advance cases without awaiting instructions. Excellent communication skills in English are required, along with proficiency in tools like Google Workspace. The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and the capability to work remotely with significant overlap with Eastern Time (EST) working hours.
