As part of the Global Operations Centre (GOC), the Cypher/Graph Engineer will collaborate with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to deliver impactful solutions in a multicultural environment. This role is integral to the Data & Technology Solutions team, focusing on designing, building, and optimizing graph database solutions that reveal complex relationships within extensive datasets, thereby driving new insights for clients and enhancing features within WPP Open.

Key responsibilities include designing and developing robust graph data models to represent intricate relationships in various datasets pertinent to AdTech, marketing, and client intelligence. The engineer will implement, configure, and maintain graph databases, such as Neo4j, in cloud environments like AWS and GCP. Additionally, they will write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex Cypher queries to efficiently extract, transform, and analyze data, supporting both analytical and operational needs. Collaboration with data engineers to establish seamless data ingestion pipelines for updating graph databases is also essential.

The ideal candidate should possess 2-5 years of professional experience in roles focused on graph databases, data engineering, or software engineering with significant exposure to graph technologies. Proven expertise and hands-on experience with the Cypher query language are essential, along with demonstrated experience with at least one major graph database platform, such as Neo4j. A strong understanding of graph data modeling principles and best practices for representing complex relationships is required. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, for data integration, API development, and scripting is also necessary. Familiarity with common graph algorithms and their practical applications, experience working in cloud environments (preferably GCP), and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience, are expected.

The gross salary for this position ranges from 6,333 zł to 12,500 zł PLN per month.
