GOC | Frontend Engineer
As a Frontend Engineer at WPP Media's Global Operations Centre (GOC), you will collaborate with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to develop high-impact solutions in a dynamic, multicultural environment. Your primary focus will be on creating intuitive, engaging, and high-performance user interfaces for our data products and AI platforms, including the innovative WPP Open platform. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the AdTech space by translating complex data into user-friendly experiences.
In this position, you will design and develop interactive and responsive web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Your responsibilities include translating UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code, developing reusable UI components, and integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints. Additionally, you will implement data visualization components to present analytical insights effectively and collaborate closely with backend engineers to optimize data flow for frontend consumption.
The ideal candidate possesses at least 3 years of professional experience in frontend web development, with strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript. Extensive experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework, such as Angular or React.js, is essential. A solid understanding of state management patterns, experience with CSS preprocessors, and familiarity with module bundlers are also required. Proficiency in writing automated tests for frontend applications and experience consuming RESTful APIs are important. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
