Government Relations Coordinator
The Government Relations Coordinator at VGW provides essential administrative and operational support to the Government Relations team, ensuring efficient coordination across multiple jurisdictions. This role is pivotal in supporting lobbying activities, regulatory engagement, policy monitoring, and internal alignment within a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities include managing calendars, scheduling, travel coordination, and meeting logistics for interactions with policymakers, lobbyists, and other external parties. The coordinator prepares agendas, records meeting minutes, tracks action items, and follows up on outcomes from government relations meetings. Additionally, the role involves acting as a central coordination point between internal stakeholders and external partners, supporting the onboarding and administration of lobbyists, and monitoring relevant policy, legislative, and regulatory developments.
Candidates should have experience in government, public policy, legal, compliance, corporate affairs, or regulated industries. Prior experience in operational support roles such as Personal or Executive Assistant or Operational Administrator is highly regarded. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, along with the ability to handle sensitive information in fast-moving or regulated environments, is essential.
The position offers a salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 per year, along with benefits including eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus, a 401(k) plan, and private health insurance.
