Grocery Store Assistant

Wolt is seeking a Grocery Store Assistant to join our dynamic team in Malta. As a Grocery Store Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in our day-to-day dark store operations, ensuring that all orders are accurately gathered and prepared for pickup by our courier partners or customers. This position offers both full-time (40 hours per week) and part-time (16 hours per week) opportunities, with stores operating seven days a week. Flexibility to work on weekends and various shifts is essential.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with team members to manage store operations effectively, assisting store management across all areas, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for unpacking daily stock deliveries, maintaining store cleanliness, restocking shelves, and merchandising products to ensure the freshest produce is available. Additionally, you will handle customer purchases and bag groceries efficiently.

The ideal candidate must be at least 18 years old and possess a professional and respectful attitude. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential. Candidates should be proactive, fast learners capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Maltese is considered a plus. Previous experience in the retail sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
