Group Design Lead - Global KYC Onboarding

The company is seeking a Group Design Lead to join its Global KYC Onboarding squad in London. This role is integral to Wise's mission of creating an open, fair, and human financial system, ensuring that onboarding processes are safe, efficient, and scalable across all regions.
As the Group Design Lead, you will set the vision for the platform that enables seamless onboarding into Wise, transforming complex regulatory requirements into user-friendly experiences. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, including the Group Product Manager, Engineering Lead, Analytics Lead, researchers, and content designers, to develop platform components that can be localized for various regions. You will also work closely with design leaders across regional teams to ensure that the platform meets both global and local needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading design teams in complex, multi-stakeholder environments, with a strong portfolio showcasing strategic thinking and detailed UX execution. Experience in regulated industries or B2B platforms is advantageous. A customer-centric approach, with the ability to balance user needs with business constraints and regulatory requirements, is essential. The role also requires the ability to build tools and patterns that empower other teams to create great experiences.
