The Group Head, Ad Operations at WPP Media is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing end-to-end ad operations excellence across multiple key clients and industries. This position leads ad operations teams to deliver accurate, scalable, and best-in-class ad delivery, measurement, and verification solutions, while acting as a trusted technical advisor to clients and internal stakeholders. WPP Media is WPP's AI-driven media operating unit, bringing together media, data, and partnerships to deliver creative personalization at scale.

Key responsibilities include leading ad operations teams to ensure consistent delivery excellence and operational best practices, setting standards and governance frameworks for ad trafficking, tagging accuracy, campaign taxonomy, and measurement reliability. The role also involves overseeing the management and optimization of third-party ad servers, analytics tools, Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs), ad verification platforms, and tag management systems. Additionally, the Group Head implements and manages ad verification and viewability solutions to improve programmatic performance, reduce Invalid Traffic (IVT), and maintain high brand safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ad operations, ad tech, and digital measurement, preferably within a media agency or digital consultancy environment. Strong hands-on expertise in ad serving, tagging, analytics, GA4, MMPs, and ad verification platforms is essential. Proven experience leading teams and managing complex, multi-client ad operations environments is required, along with a track record of delivering measurable improvements in data accuracy, viewability, IVT reduction, and brand safety. Experience working with clients across industries such as FMCG, Tobacco, Beauty, Retail, and Telecommunications is advantageous.
