Hardware Test Engineer - Robotics

Helsing is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer to join our team in Barcelona, focusing on the development and validation of advanced robotic systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies for mechatronic drone systems and their auxiliary components. Your day-to-day activities will include creating test plans, developing test fixtures, automating test sequences, and conducting rigorous functional, performance, and environmental testing to ensure system reliability and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, with 3+ years of experience in test and validation. Proficiency in programming for test automation (e.g., Python, MATLAB), a strong understanding of test methodologies, and experience with hardware/software integration are essential. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with effective communication abilities in English, are also required.
