Head Legal
The Head of Legal at Fosad Consulting's client, a leading telecommunications company, is responsible for overseeing all legal functions and serving as the chief legal advisor to ensure the organization is protected from legal actions. The Head of Legal also develops and implements procurement strategies, monitors procurement policies, facilitates competitive tendering processes, and oversees legal processes related to site acquisition, community issues, permits, and company secretarial duties. Additionally, the role involves guiding the Board and senior management on compliance matters, maintaining legal records, ensuring data protection compliance, drafting and negotiating legal contracts, and coordinating with external legal resources.
Candidates should possess a four-year LLB and LL.M degree from a reputable university, be a certified qualified lawyer, and have over five years of post-qualification experience in corporate legal roles, preferably within a multinational company. A Master's degree or higher qualifications are desirable. The ideal candidate should have advanced understanding of company operations and commercial transactions, demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the board and management, and the capacity to handle complex problems with independent judgment. Skills in drafting corporate compliance and legal documentation, advanced negotiation, research, and exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication are essential.
