Head of Product, Regulatory Finance
Wolt is seeking a Head of Product to lead the development of global regulatory and compliance technology, encompassing areas such as anti-money laundering (AML), safeguarding, tax, and licensing compliance across over 40 markets. This role involves collaborating with legal, finance, and engineering teams to translate regulatory requirements into robust product solutions, ensuring the platform remains compliant, auditable, and scalable.
Key responsibilities include defining the long-term product strategy for the compliance stack, which involves building internal tools, APIs, and automation for regulatory requirements like Know Your Customer (KYC), AML, and audit readiness. The role also entails leading and growing a group of senior Product Managers, guiding their work across multiple roadmaps and domains to address critical regulatory and financial compliance challenges. Additionally, the Head of Product will work closely with teams such as Licensing Services, Tax, Legal, and Finance to understand evolving rules and requirements, ensuring the development of appropriate solutions to maintain compliance.
The ideal candidate will have strong product management experience in regulatory technology, financial compliance, or related domains, preferably at scale and across regulated markets. A solid understanding of EU regulatory frameworks, including PSD2, AMLD, safeguarding, and EMD, is essential, along with experience in translating legal requirements into product designs. Proven experience in leading other Product Managers or Product Leads, setting direction across multiple teams, coaching individuals, and aligning senior stakeholders is required. High technical and analytical fluency, familiarity with financial services infrastructure such as KYC and AML systems, and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are also important. A track record of operating in high-ambiguity environments, navigating risk, and delivering product impact without full information is highly valued.
Compensation for this position includes a negotiable combination of monthly pay and DoorDash Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), providing an opportunity to share in the company's growth and success.
