Altruist is seeking a Head of Sales for Hazel AI, an AI engine designed to revolutionize wealth management by enhancing growth, efficiency, and value for financial advisors and their clients. Since its launch last September, Hazel has experienced rapid user growth, becoming a key component of Altruist's mission to make financial advice better, more affordable, and accessible. This hybrid role requires four in-office days per week at our San Francisco Financial District location.

The Head of Sales will be responsible for building and leading the sales team, establishing operating systems, and driving growth through effective strategy and execution. Key responsibilities include defining and running the weekly sales cadence, establishing stage definitions and qualification frameworks, hiring and coaching Account Executives, and being hands-on in key deals. Additionally, the role involves partnering cross-functionally to integrate product-led growth signals, collaborate with marketing on demand strategy, and work with product teams to prioritize features that unblock sales.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, including at least 2 years managing quota-carrying Account Executives. Demonstrated ability to build early go-to-market rigor, strong deal leadership skills, and experience selling into complex buying environments are essential. Bonus points for experience in AI product selling, vertical SaaS/workflow automation, or familiarity with the wealth/fintech domain.

This role offers a target on-target earnings (OTE) of $400,000 to $425,000, combining base salary and variable incentive compensation. Final compensation is individualized based on experience and qualifications. Equity and benefits are included for full-time employees.

Altruist values kindness, brilliance, and grit, fostering a culture of open communication, humility, and resilience. Employees enjoy a hybrid work schedule, premium healthcare plans, a 401(k) savings plan with a 4% match, 16 weeks of paid parental leave, and professional growth opportunities, including an annual learning and development budget. The company also offers a one-month work-from-anywhere policy, promoting flexibility and work-life balance.
