Head of Sales, Retail
Wolt is seeking a Head of Sales, Retail to lead and scale its retail sales organization in Germany. This role involves defining and executing the retail sales strategy across both SMB and Enterprise segments, with full revenue accountability. The successful candidate will lead large, multi-layered sales teams and build the commercial engine that drives retail growth across the country.
Key responsibilities include owning the retail sales strategy across SMB and Enterprise segments, leading sales teams through Sales Managers and Team Leads, and delivering against revenue targets through disciplined acquisition strategies. The role also involves overseeing and approving Enterprise deal strategies, ensuring a healthy Enterprise pipeline, and designing a scalable sales organization with clear segmentation and accountability.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of professional experience in Retail, E-commerce, Marketplace, or Omnichannel businesses, with proven leadership experience managing managers and multi-layered sales teams. Strong background in Enterprise Retail and complex B2B negotiations is essential, along with fluency in German and English. Core skills include end-to-end retail sales strategy, strong commercial and financial acumen, advanced negotiation skills, and data-driven leadership.
