Housekeeping Supervisor - Redchurch Townhouse, East London
The Housekeeping Supervisor at Redchurch Townhouse in East London will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across all guest-facing and back-of-house areas. This role is integral to maintaining the premium environment expected by our members and guests, while also supporting, training, and motivating the housekeeping staff.
Key responsibilities include supervising and coordinating housekeeping staff to ensure all areas, including rooms, public spaces, offices, and staff areas, are cleaned and maintained to high standards. The supervisor will conduct daily inspections and audits of guest areas, restrooms, lounges, and event spaces, addressing any deficiencies immediately. Additionally, the role involves supporting the training and onboarding of new team members, creating and adjusting daily work schedules, and liaising with front of house, events, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory or senior attendant role, preferably within luxury hospitality or private clubs. A strong understanding of cleaning techniques, guest service, and back-of-house procedures is essential. Experience leading and motivating a team in a fast-paced environment, along with excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills, are required. Being detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and having working knowledge of housekeeping systems or software are advantageous.
