Bill4Time, a leading provider of cloud-based time and billing software for law firms, is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team. This role is integral to maintaining efficient human resources operations within the company. The HR Generalist will report directly to the Controller and will be responsible for a range of HR functions to support the organization's growth and compliance.

In this position, the HR Generalist will manage payroll records and systems, ensuring timely processing in collaboration with the Finance department. They will oversee the new employee onboarding process, including payroll and benefits setup, and conduct orientations for new hires. Additionally, the role involves maintaining digital employee records, assisting in drafting employment-related documents, and serving as the primary point of contact for general HR inquiries. Benefits administration, performance management support, and staying updated with HR compliance are also key responsibilities.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, with 3 to 5 years of HR experience. Exposure to labor laws and employment equity regulations is essential. Effective HR administration, people management skills, and familiarity with payroll practices are required; experience with Paylocity is a plus. The ideal candidate will be analytical, an excellent communicator, resourceful, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
