HR Manager
The HR Manager at KnowBe4's Brazil Success Hub in São Paulo is a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving the growth and health of the Brazil team, which includes both remote and hybrid employees. This role serves as the local HR head, balancing high-touch partnership with leadership and hands-on execution of the employee lifecycle. Key priorities include scaling the Brazil Success Hub’s headcount in partnership with Talent Acquisition, serving as the "gatekeeper" of company culture through candidate assessments, and ensuring a world-class onboarding experience for the workforce in partnership with the TA and Onboarding teams. This role manages local HR operations and compliance while ensuring the Brazil office remains seamlessly aligned with global KnowBe4 standards.
Key responsibilities include partnering with the Senior Director of HR (Americas) and local leadership to execute the growth roadmap for the Brazil Success Hub, ensuring the organization scales effectively. The HR Manager will identify and develop local talent, building a pipeline of future leaders within the Success Hub, and provide guidance on organizational design and workforce planning to support rapid expansion and changing business needs. Additionally, the role involves acting as the primary local partner for the Global Talent Acquisition team, leading "Culture Fit/Alignment" assessments for final-stage candidates, and assisting in local interview coordination and feedback loops to ensure a high-velocity, high-quality hiring process.
The HR Manager is also responsible for designing and overseeing the onboarding journey for employees in Brazil, ensuring they feel connected to the global mission from day one. Developing and implementing strategies to keep the "Success Hub" culture vibrant for both in-office and remote-working employees is essential, as is driving local engagement events and DEI initiatives that align with the global "80/20" (80% global, 20% local) culture strategy. The role includes directly managing and mentoring the Senior HR Operations Specialist, overseeing all local employee relations and compliance matters in accordance with Brazilian Labor Law (CLT) and applicable policy, and implementing and maintaining global HR policies on a local level, ensuring they are culturally and legally relevant.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Human Resources Management, or other relevant fields, with a minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in HR functions with increasing levels of responsibility and subject matter expertise. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills are required, along with extensive experience in client-facing HR roles across key HR services and products. Demonstrated ability to influence and develop strong cross-functional working relationships across HR and business clients is essential, as is a hands-on approach and strong service mindset. A high level of confidentiality, excellent time management and organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment are also necessary. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software is required, and experience with Workday is a plus.
