HRBP, Raritan Manufacturing
Legend Biotech is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support its manufacturing site in Raritan, New Jersey. This role reports to the Associate Director, HR Business Partner, and collaborates closely with other HRBPs to serve as a strategic partner to the business. The position is a contract role with a duration of 6 to 12 months.
The HRBP will partner with function heads, managers, and employees at the manufacturing site to enhance team and individual effectiveness. Key responsibilities include educating leaders on HR policies and processes to build high-performing teams, providing performance management guidance, supporting leaders in developing talent growth and retention plans, driving cross-functional discussions for robust succession planning, and managing complex employee relations issues through effective investigations. Additionally, the HRBP will analyze trends and metrics in collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence to develop HR-related solutions, programs, and policies, and support business leaders in implementing strategies that enable the organization to thrive through periods of change.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Human Resources Management, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner is required, with a strong preference for experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. The role demands a thorough understanding of HR legal compliance requirements and programs that support business objectives, expert-level experience in employee relations, and strong influencing, decision-making, and resilience skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, project management, and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a changing environment and lead others through phases of change.
