Immigration Attorney - EOIR
The United Firm is seeking an Immigration Attorney to join their team in San Antonio, Texas. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated attorney to gain valuable experience and advance their career within a premier law firm. As an Immigration Attorney, you will report to the Managing Attorney and collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal assistants.
In this position, you will represent both non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court, USCIS, and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Your responsibilities will include preparing defensive immigration applications, such as I-589, 42A, 42B, I-485, SIJS, and PD requests, as well as reviewing USCIS filings like I-130, I-601A, and U-Visa applications. You will also meet with clients to develop strategic plans and provide legal analysis, manage a team of paralegals to ensure high-quality client service, and prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases.
The ideal candidate will have 1 to 5 years of experience in immigration law, with a strong background in Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian cases, EOIR proceedings, Detained cases, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required. Exceptional interpersonal skills, a proven track record of advancing legal cases, and experience with case management software are also desirable.
