Immigration Specialist
The Immigration Operations Specialist at Envoy Global, Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting employment-based immigration cases by providing hands-on administrative and case support to the company's affiliate law firm. Key responsibilities include preparing correspondence, filings, and mailings for immigration petitions, scanning, uploading, and managing sensitive case documents with accuracy, and supporting standard immigration case types under the guidance of senior specialists. The role also involves maintaining accurate case updates and notices in Envoy's platform, performing quality checks to ensure work meets accuracy and compliance standards, assisting with online applications and client document intake, and utilizing AI and automation tools to improve efficiency. Additionally, the specialist will support high-volume projects such as H-1B cap season and other peak periods.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma and have at least two years of administrative or clerical experience in a corporate environment. Comfort with handling confidential, time-sensitive information is essential, along with basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and clear written and verbal communication are required. A genuine interest in immigration, global mobility, or legal operations is also important.
The position is full-time and requires onsite work in Chicago, IL, five days per week. Flexibility to work overtime during high-volume periods is necessary, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work at a computer for extended periods is expected. The hourly rate ranges from $20 to $21.
