Implementation Accountant
About the Role
As a Payroll Implementation Specialist, you are the architect of a client’s first impression. You will not only configure software but also audit historical data, validate tax compliance, and ensure a seamless financial transition.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Consulting: Manage the full implementation process from the welcome call through go-live, setting realistic expectations and timelines.
• Financial Data Auditing: Review and verify client data for proper system setup including historical YTD data, employee info, and company structures.
• Tax Compliance Oversight: Audit tax returns (940, 941s, state quarterly returns), payroll registers, deductions, and earnings taxability to ensure error-free platform setup.
• Data Migration: Accurately enter and reconcile client YTD/prior payroll data into the Execupay system.
• Post-Launch Support: Assist clients through their first two successful payroll runs to ensure system stability.
• Client Advocacy: Bridge clients and internal teams to resolve complex technical or accounting issues for an optimal experience.
Requirements
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• 1-2 years of experience in Payroll, Administrative Accounting, or related financial field.
• Ability to interpret tax forms, payroll registers, and complex financial data sets.
• Proven project management skills, managing multiple clients and projects with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
• Proactive, organized, team-oriented self-starter who takes full ownership of projects.
