In-House Patent Attorney (Newly Qualified)

Tropic Bioscience is seeking a newly qualified In-House Patent Attorney to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our intellectual property portfolio. Your day-to-day tasks will include drafting and prosecuting patent applications, conducting freedom-to-operate analyses, and providing strategic IP advice to our research teams. You will also collaborate closely with external counsel and ensure compliance with relevant IP laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in life sciences, preferably with a focus on biotechnology or plant sciences. You should be a newly qualified patent attorney with experience in patent prosecution and a keen interest in agricultural biotechnology. Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
