The role also involves assessing and maintaining security measures, including cyber and personnel security, aligned with ISO 27001 and other pertinent frameworks. Additionally, the Industrial Security Lead will provide security advice for projects, mentor teams on regulatory security requirements, conduct security awareness training, and support personnel safety during travel and events.

Candidates should have demonstrable experience with Information Security Management Systems, national security requirements, and standards like ISO 27001. Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, security audits, and implementing physical protective measures is essential. Strong communication skills are required to engage effectively at all organizational levels, including briefing senior leadership. The ideal candidate will possess problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and a proactive approach to staying ahead of technological and industry trends. Comfort with independent work in a dynamic environment is also important.
