Ingénieur Commercial Senior, Entreprise / Senior Sales Engineer, Enterprise
Fivetran is seeking a talented Senior Sales Engineer to join our Enterprise sales team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our sales team to understand the complex business needs of our enterprise clients and demonstrate how Fivetran's data replication solutions can help them achieve their business objectives. You will provide technical expertise, identify functional and technical requirements, and support a rigorous proof-of-value process throughout the sales cycle.
Key responsibilities include working with enterprise customers to understand their business requirements, use cases, and data replication needs. You will develop and deliver functional and technical presentations to enterprise audiences, ensure technical success by leading a thorough proof-of-value process, and collaborate closely with Fivetran's Product, Post-Sale Services, Support, and Engineering teams to align our solutions with enterprise customer needs. Additionally, you will develop and maintain relationships with key enterprise customers and partners and stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience selling IT services or products within an enterprise or similarly complex environment. A strong technical background covering database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data replication technologies is essential. Experience with modern data analytics technologies, including cloud data warehouses, transformation tools, data catalogs, and BI tools, is required. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, are crucial. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are also necessary. Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required, with professional-level English due to the nature of the role, which involves frequent interactions with clients and prospects outside Québec and drafting emails and proposals in English.
This is a full-time, remote position based in Montreal, Quebec City, or other locations in Quebec, Canada. The role requires a willingness to travel 20% or more.
