Equinox Group is seeking a dedicated Intellectual Property (IP) Paralegal to join its Commercial Legal team at the Hudson Yards headquarters in New York City. This role involves managing the company's global IP and brand protection matters across its diverse portfolio, including Equinox Fitness, Equinox+, SoulCycle, and Equinox Hotels. The position reports to the Vice President & Deputy General Counsel and requires a proactive approach to safeguarding Equinox's intellectual property assets worldwide.

The IP Paralegal will be responsible for overseeing the company's global portfolio of trademarks, including the preparation and prosecution of IP applications, Statements of Use, amendments, and renewals. Key duties include conducting trademark clearance searches, preparing responses to USPTO and international office actions, drafting and sending cease and desist letters, and managing online enforcement actions such as DMCA and UDRP proceedings. Additionally, the role involves tracking IP deadlines, managing the global docket, and ensuring the accuracy of IP records.

Candidates should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of legal experience handling intellectual property and brand protection matters, with prior in-house experience at a luxury consumer-facing brand being advantageous. Proficiency in trademark portfolio management tools like CPI, as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat, are essential. A bachelor's degree and/or completion of an ABA-approved paralegal program is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
