Interior Designer III
CannonDesign is seeking an experienced Interior Designer III to join their multidisciplinary team, contributing to diverse projects across the United States. This role involves close collaboration with design and technical leadership, playing a pivotal part in project teams. Under the guidance of designated project leadership, the Interior Designer III will be integral to the development and execution of design goals throughout all project phases.
Key responsibilities include leading the development of project goals through all phases, evaluating client needs, researching and coordinating furniture, fixtures, and equipment, and ensuring design work complies with standards and codes. The role also involves developing interior space designs, selecting materials, producing drawings within project constraints, assisting in project planning, leading client meetings, mentoring junior staff, and participating in construction administration activities.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor or Master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field, with a minimum of 6 years of related experience. A current NCIDQ certification is preferred. The ideal candidate will be design-focused, an independent thinker, analytical, and possess a strong creative design portfolio. Proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite is required.
The salary range for this position varies by location. For example, in New York City, the annual salary ranges from $81,863 to $102,305.
