Internal Investment Media Manager

The Internal Investment Media Manager at WPP Media is a key role within the investment operations team, based in Johannesburg, South Africa. This position involves close collaboration with the Investment Director to coordinate and streamline essential processes, ensuring effective communication and meticulous record-keeping. WPP Media is WPP's AI-driven media operating unit, integrating media, data, and partnerships to deliver creative personalization at scale.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining comprehensive spend and savings trackers for client activities, scheduling and participating in regular meetings to review investment performance, and acting as the central point of contact for all investment-related information. The role also involves identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in investment coordination, as well as compiling various reports for South Africa and coordinating timely delivery for the Rest of Africa (ROA) markets.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in using spreadsheets and other data management tools to track, analyze, and report on financial information. A solid understanding of financial principles related to media and investment is required, and prior experience in a media agency environment, particularly with exposure to investment operations and media planning, would be advantageous.
