IT Support Engineer
As an IT Support Engineer at Motive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring end-user satisfaction by providing comprehensive IT support. This position involves monitoring and maintaining computer systems, performing hardware and software installations, and addressing technical challenges both independently and collaboratively. Your primary responsibilities will include performing OS installations and configurations for MacOS, Windows, and Linux systems, facilitating seamless onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, and conducting new hire orientation sessions related to IT support. Additionally, you will manage and maintain local inventory of IT assets, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues promptly, and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while upholding quality standards. Providing both onsite and remote support to end users via tickets, emails, and Slack channels will also be a key part of your role.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 1–6 years of IT support experience in a corporate or fast-paced environment. Strong working knowledge of MacOS and Windows, with basic familiarity with Linux, is essential. Hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Kandji or Microsoft Intune, as well as a solid understanding of ticketing systems like Jira Service Management, is required. Practical experience supporting enterprise SaaS tools, including Google Workspace, Okta, and Salesforce, is also important. Excellent communication and customer-handling skills, coupled with a problem-solving mindset, are crucial for success in this role.
