Jr. Paralegal - Litigation

Financial Technology Partners is seeking a Junior Paralegal to join its legal team in New York City. This role offers the opportunity to play a vital part in litigation preparation and planning, as well as to assist with various functions within the legal department.

Key responsibilities include assisting the General Counsel and outside counsel in litigation preparation and management, reviewing and analyzing documents and communications to prepare summaries, timelines, and presentations, managing documentation and filing deadlines, participating in legal team and firm meetings, conducting legal and non-legal research, and assisting with special projects from other members of the legal and operations teams.

The ideal candidate will be a demonstrated high achiever with a track record of accomplishment in various areas. A bachelor's degree with excellent academic performance from a first-tier academic institution is required. Candidates should be able to analyze documents, data, and communications, understand complex financial transactions, and summarize them clearly. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility, discretion, and a professional demeanor are essential. Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, the ability to work effectively under pressure, and U.S. work authorization are also required.
