Junior Operational Risk Officer
The Junior Operational Risk Officer at iBanFirst will play a pivotal role in strengthening the company's operational risk framework, focusing on Business Continuity and Resilience programs, as well as Third Party and Outsourcing Risk Management. This position involves close collaboration with the Operational Risk Manager, pCISO, and various business stakeholders to ensure iBanFirst's resilience and compliance with regulatory standards such as DORA and NBB.
Key responsibilities include supporting the maintenance and enhancement of the Operational Risk Framework, facilitating Risk and Control Assessments (RCAs) with business units, mapping and documenting end-to-end business processes, and assisting in the continuous improvement of process documentation. The role also involves collecting, recording, and analyzing incidents, contributing to the development and maintenance of operational risk policies and procedures, and promoting a proactive risk culture across first-line teams.
Candidates should have at least two years of experience in operational risk, business continuity, or third-party risk management, preferably within a regulated financial institution. A solid understanding of DORA requirements, practical experience in BCP/DRP development and testing, and familiarity with EBA Guidelines on outsourcing are essential. Strong analytical and documentation skills, along with excellent communication abilities in English, are required; proficiency in French and/or Dutch is advantageous.
