Key Account Manager
The Key Account Manager at Questel is responsible for expanding the company's client base within the U.S. law firm market. This role involves identifying new business opportunities and managing the full sales cycle to enhance clients' intellectual property workflows through Questel's AI-driven solutions. The position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is integral to the sales team.
Key responsibilities include managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals, building and maintaining strong relationships with key law firms, and tracking sales pipelines and forecasts. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer success to ensure seamless client onboarding and support. Additionally, the Key Account Manager monitors product adoption and stays informed about industry trends to align sales strategies accordingly.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least three years in a business-to-business account management environment, preferably in SaaS. Proven experience in securing new business within law firms, the IP industry, or SaaS sales is essential. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are required, along with a self-motivated and goal-oriented approach. A keen interest in AI technologies and their applications in the legal or IP fields is also desirable.
