KYC Analyst

Modulr, a leading fintech company specializing in embedded payments, is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join their Amsterdam team. This role is integral to Modulr's First Line Risk & Compliance Function, focusing on mitigating risks associated with their services as an Electronic Money Institution. The team emphasizes Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), and Sanctions control frameworks, while also considering aspects like proposition, consumer duty, and market value.

As a Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting client risk assessments, performing customer due diligence—including Simplified and Enhanced Due Diligence—and executing Know Your Customer (KYC) activities. Your role will involve engaging with various stakeholders within Modulr and external parties, screening for politically exposed persons and sanctioned individuals, and reviewing and recommending amendments to policies and procedures to align with Modulr's compliance requirements.

Ideal candidates should possess a strong understanding of compliance regulations, particularly in the areas of AML, CTF, and Sanctions. Experience in conducting risk assessments and due diligence processes is essential.
